Default Bon Jovi should play the millenium stadium again.

Apparently (ie. there may be no truth in what i am about to say) it has no curfew or noise restrictions. All the UK gigs there next tour then

Is it true? Not that Bon Jovi would play all night, they'd probably still sod off at half ten...

Yeah, wouldn't be a bad idea. I think they should play at The Emirates Stadium.

i wish they'd just scrap the likes of Bristol/Southampton/Hull etc dates! (no offence to anyone from there!)

One Scotland - Hampden Park

One North - City Of Manchester Stadium

One Midlands - Ricoh (Coventry)

One Wales - Cardiff Millenium Stadium

One London - Emirates

That's it.

They don't need any more than that, i do not understand why they insist on playing more UK shows than that. I'd even go as far as to say they could scrap the 'midlands' date, we're not THAT far (travelling wise) from any of the other dates.

I agree, except:
Scrap Emirates for Wembley, and City of manchester for Old Trafford, and Ricoh for Villa Park (do they have gigs there?). If they do less dates at least make them big.

They haven't done for years, I know Springsteen was there in '88 but i'm pretty sure there's been none since (i might be wrong).
It's one of these old stadiums that are built smack bang in the middle of residential areas, it's chaos on matchdays so i don't know how they'd cope with the long queues associated with stadium gigs. Newer ones like Ricoh, Brittania Stadium etc have them laaaaaaaaarge car-parks which makes things easier.

Thats true, never thought about that. Damn people and their houses!

So if we go by stadiums that aren't in residential areas so no noise restrictions what do we have?

Millenium Stadium.

I am not sure but isn't Old Trafford pretty far from residential areas? I've only been in from 'round the back way', we parked in an industrial estate.

I wonder about these restrictions, i mean how close does the residential area have to be?

I'd assume bands try to play thier stadium shows at newer stadiums because of the better all-round facilities as well as for the logistical reasons. Newer stadiums do tend to be built 'out of the way', or near retail parks, and also often feature the large parking area and lots of open space.
I'm not a massive fan of either stadium, but Ricoh and City Of Manchester stadiums are perfect examples of this.

I don't see them playing Wembley Stadium untill AEG sort out their differences with the stadium (or Bon Jovi change their promotors).

I think Emirates would be a great place, there's rumours of that happening.

However, I would love to see them at Hyde Park

I think it's appauling that very few big bands like Bon Jovi play the Milennium Stadium on a regular basis. In fact, in the last 15 years, Bon Jovi have only ever come to Cardiff twice.

1995 - Cardiff Arms Park
2001 - Millennium Stadium

Springsteen, Rolling Stones, Chili Peppers and U2 have only played there once since it opened in 1999, but then again they've only toured the UK twice since then. Bon Jovi on the other hand have had 5 UK tours since then have only played once.
