I've been to Old Trafford and The City of Manchester stadiums and the latter is far easier to get to, just a walk from the city centre. To get to Old Trafford I seem to remember having to get a tram/train (they're weird - trams in the centre, but then they go onto train-lines as they leave) Also, as people have said, newer stadiums have better facilities.

Emirates wouldn't be good i think. They have strict noise limits and curfew.

Old trafford is easy to get to if you drive but yeah i can see how pedestrians may have issues.

(so did my ready salted crisp) and i just didn't want to do that again. Some lad got roared at for squashing me lol.

Yeah let's cut down on UK gigs! That sounds like a top plan!

Yeh, Old Trafford can be a pain with the tram services not being sufficient to hold the number of people required. It's a shame really because both the football and cricket grounds are ideal locations for stadium gigs in summer. I get a free parking space at Kellogg, opposite the cricket ground and just up the road from the football ground so I'm okay, but I can see it'd be a nightmare for others.

Also the City of Manchester Stadium is a far better stadium than old trafford, not just easier to get too.

One London - Emirates

That's it.

They don't need any more than that, i do not understand why they insist on playing more UK shows than that. I'd even go as far as to say they could scrap the 'midlands' date, we're not THAT far (travelling wise) from any of the other dates.
Sorry for being late everybody.

But Manchester isn't really that far north TBH .

I think this would be decent for the next UK tour:

Hampden Park, Glasgow

Dublin, Ireland

Cardiff, Wales

Manchester, England

Hyde Park, England/Wembley, England(X3)

I don't think they could sell out 3 nights at Wembley, 2 would be a struggle.

you gotta be kiddin, the COM is nice but OT is way better, one of the best in Europe imo ..
been to the Nou Camp and OT is about a zillion times better .. the car park at COM was a joke,90 minutes to get out of it,nowhere near as bad at OT,loads of parking and easy to get away ..
