was pretty cool, just as 2003 but fell short for the same reasons.
was back to the basic stage but fortunately with a nice screen that was wrapped around the speakers of the stage.
/2010 was fully indoor but nothing special ( look at the MSG dvd)
greates hits tour was nothing but a half rond circle ( inspired by what pink floyd used 20 years before) with a huge screen ( but that's just like a big TV) and poor lights.
was the Sofia stage - for once that looked cool !
THINFS tour europe was relatively classic but the visuals and screens were nice. The curved thing really gave it that little extra.
You only described the outdoor stages and I mostly agree with these assessments; however, both 2010 and 2013 tours had really nice indoor/arena designs. The MSG DVD you referring was from the LH tour [2008]. In 2010, I was really impressed by all the moving robot screens (We Got It Goin' On is a great example of how those worked). I didn't see a show in 2013, but those pillars with screens looked pretty cool!
