He is allowed his view and you're allowed your view of the band and what their music means to you. No need to slag him off over it which your post does.

Bit petty in my opinion.

Now THAT is very strange.
I had a different avatar but it was considered less appropriate. Never really paid any attention to having similar ones. But, GMTA!

Ok. So if I'd be agreeing it would be all cool huh?

But I totally agree on everyone being allowed to ones opinions. That still doesn't remove the right to disagree or to debate.

You don't really though because you insulted the guy for having an opinion different to yours. It's not accepting his opinion if you say stuff like

"You and your likes would buy just about anything with the name Bon Jovi on it."

"No need to put any effort to anything, crap will sell no matter what."

It's condescending.

It's no surprise that the blind Jovi fans are the ones with the worst taste in music.

But it's not.

If Jon Bon Jovi decided to sing, for example, a bunch of One Direction covers, no-one would buy it.

Do you really think that Bon Jovi put "no effort" into this album because that is blatantly untrue?

1st. I could bet a lot that it would sell just fine.

2nd. How come that is untrue? Songs that don't require much effort played live. Everything watered down. Following same formula that is more or less proven to please certain audience in the states. Nothing original, just calculated.

Considering the One Direction album is better than this new one, yes I think people would buy it. At least they know how to make a pop album.
