If people are talking about the Prudential Center in New Jersey (aka The Rock) there is no doubt they are talking about Bruce Springsteen vs Bon Jovi (more likely Bruce vs Jon).

And as far as censorship goes - when Peter installed Jovitalk 3 - all the "bad" words were taken off the list. I don't usually put things quite so strongly but I am damn tired of the Bruce vs Jon argument.

I think as a native New Jerseyan that I am lucky to have two high quality local bands (three if you count Southside Johnny - and I do count him). It's pointless to set up a "my band is better than your band" competition.

Of course you could know I'm the last one who cares for 'bad' words lol

Gotya twice in just a few minutes.... hehe

I'm always suprised when there is a interview with an actor from the US (yes again, but I don't mean anything with it) that they are ALWAYS suprised that just can say **** and other words on Dutch TV.
The actor from Prisonbreak and Matt Damon couldn't stop saying cunt, **** etc.
Fun, but gets bored...

Edit: and a few minutes later I remember Jon & Richie were also suprised once and also kept calling **** in between. It ruins the interview. So for Gods sake, stop the censorships so we can have quality interviews!

On the other topic of Bruce vs Jovi. Marc, do you know that Bruce was asked first as a fact? Or is this just another Bruce vs Jovi pissing match reported by a Bruce fan? They love to get their facts wrong when it comes to Bon Jovi. Told this way they can say what a money hungry bastard Jon is - and he doesn't care about his fans - yadda yadda.......

It certainly is an interesting take on the matter BUT I wonder if it's the complete story.

Personally I think the Bruce fans have a stick up their ass about Bon Jovi. As I've mentioned here before - the Bon Jovi fans are happy to enjoy Bruce for what he does. Why can't the Bruce fans enjoy Bon Jovi for what they do? Methinks they protest too much (must be jealousy LOL).

In any case I am planning on enjoying 5 Bruce concerts and 5 Bon Jovi concerts in the next month and a half - and **** all the naysayers

i KNEW youd love this - i dont know if she knew as a fact, sounds a lot like what you say, but in the US (and as a heterosexual male) you take a lot of pounding for being a huge jovi from all angles anyway, like you dont understand music or something...so as you say, naysay

I still can't believe there is this controversary between John Bongiovi and Bruce Springsteen who runs Jersey. I think they wouldn both agree that the late Old Blue Eyes Frank Sinatra runs Jersey. We all know that Sinatra inspired those two guys.

I' sorry, I don't mean to get you upset or anything and I certainly don't mean tomake fun of you, but I think you just made up one of the funniest words I have ever heard. Controversary.

That's just awesome.

Have to agree:

Controversary - the anniversary of two people who don't get along
