Bon Jovi Were Turned Down to Play at Slane Castle

Well that one had a few things going for it esp the line up which included the redhot chilli peppers and coldplay on before u2,and it was u2's first time playing there since 83 .oh and also the way the concert was shot kept the crowd right up in the mix not like jovi's square garden one

I always wondered why Jovi had never played Slane!! but its the one gig i hope they do!

The atmosphere is amazin at it, without question, and its always the biggest concert of the year, gets a lot of media attention! A lot of people go basically because its Slane!

Croke Park is easy to get too...... but go far enough back and the acoustics are crap! its amazin to watch football in....concerts no so much!!! as for the new AVIVA Stadium.... who the heck knows what it will be like! hopefully it will be good!

Hopefully they do play Slane one day... its just a concert that a Band like Jovi need to play!!! Almost like being in Irish R&R hall of fame of performers! Springsteen, U2, Queen, Oasis, GNR, Rolling Stones!!!
