Good find.

But I am confused, Bon Jovi arent listed on the official BBC Electric Proms site, and it implies that they are playing during the event but then it it says 3rd November later in the article which the prmos are over by then.

Main lineup http://www.bbc.co.uk/electricproms/2009/lineup/

It kight just be a radio broadcast performance with only a handful of tickets...hardly the big promo show we had been hoping for.

Ahwell, looking forward to more information

Would be a bit late to add them to the line up wouldn't it?

Still, the electric proms would be pretty cool for them to play. There was a bit of a big deal last year with Oasis playing, so hopefully the same would be great promo for them.

It sounds like this isnt strictly going to be part of the Electric Proms but just part of the live music season on Radio 2. The press release details look very sketchy though so i'm not holding my breath.

UK fans will know what i mean when i say RADIO BLOODY 2? There seems to be this massive gulf between Radio 1 & 2 and Bon Jovi are firmly in the middle. To be on a list with Shirley Bassey (who is very f**king scary by the way) and Spandau Ballet (which i actually quite like so i'm not dissing them) is just wrong. Rant Over

Unless I'm mistaken, Robbie Williams is also scheduled for the the Electric Proms - and his performance is to be broadcast at cinemas!

I would imagine that if BJ are performing on the 3rd November with a handful of tickets available, we can expect an official gig of some sort on 2nd or 4th.
I'm still screwed due to being in Paris that week!

Oh - and BBC's Radio Theatre only holds 310 seated, 425 standing......
Bare in mind production team, their friends and families etc. you'll be INCREDIBLY lucky to get a ticket!

I wonder if it'll be on TV the or iPlayer.

Hopefully they'll do loads more promo in the UK around the same time.
