Never known anything like this. For those of you saying Jon doesn't know how much AEG charge etc... of course he does.
Imagine... (and I'm not saying these figures are accurate but probably not too far out) - "we'll offer you 2 million pound to play to 80,000 people at Twickenham"... 2 years later, "we'll offer you 1.5 millound pound per night to play to 18,000 people at the O2".
It's obvious AEG then will charge a lot a) to justify Bon Jovi's price and b) to fill the whole that booking out the MJ tickets created.
And as you've said, the fanclub tickets are merely provided via See Tickets and don't actually seem to be priority. I can get row F for 200 pound tickets, row F for 75 tickets and row F for X,XXX tickets. That's all very well, but which block am I in!
One final thing, it's not like this is a special tour or comeback or appearance for the Band. They've played in London/UK now in 2000,2001,2002,2003,2006,2007,2008,2009. So it's not like they are a rare appearance.
I actually hope the band do 20 shows and it will be interesting to see how few people they play to each night!
As for bankers, bonuses and VIP tickets... even for half of them with their bonuses unguaranteed you'd be talking 1-2% of their base salary just for a ticket at the front. I genuinely don't know who will be buying those allocations.
