The price has absolutely nothing to do with the venue. REM are playing at the Borgata this week and tickets only cost 75 dollars.

For Bon Jovi, the pricing has everything to do with the venue, being that their shows aren't as expensive at other venues in New Jersey.

I wonder then why REM can play there for only 75 Dollars. And that without a company like Samsung in the background as a sponsor.

Have to agree. This seems purely a matter of greed. Forgive me for not doing my research but is this actually gonna be a special show, or just another 'normal' Jovi show.. same old setlist, same old Jon banter? I'd pay that much only if I knew I was gonna see something really special.. rare songs, a really well thought out setlist.. tracks from the boxset etc

No, I think the tickets were either $200 or $250 last time they played at the Borgata. It seems like they were $200 each.
