It didn't even show up until after 9 this morning and tickets went onsale at 10. And yeah - it was the amex presale. I got all the info from the amex site since there was nothing in TM until the last minute.

Did you need a password? A friend of mine has an Amex card. I was just gonna give her the money and have her get the tickets.

Well done, Kathleen! I'm working on Boston, too. I think the hotel is going to be the most challenging part of the trip to work out . . . not to mention pay for! LOL I've stopped looking at the ones that people describe as "reasonable." Take me directly to "cheap"!

Hey, I'm also looking for a cheap hotel in Boston. If anybody knows something, please share it.

Boston is relatively easy to get around. There's a really nice Westin down the street from South Station. That's where the trains from NYC come into. From there, you could take a cab to the Garden.

Boston hotels are very expensive Terri - sometimes even worse than New York. I'm not sure cheap even applies LOL. I have a Hilton honors credit card that gives me free stays at the Hilton chain that I use for stuff like this. Boston has the "T" - very easy to use transportation. I don't care if I'm a few stops away from downtown since it's so easy to get around. I'm quite familiar with the city since we go there relatively frequently.

If you're not freaked out by public transportation look away from downtown a bit and the rates will be much better.
