It's a sign of the fact that pretty much any high end gig costs more or less twice as much as it did five years ago now.

It's as simple a fact as that people have had enough of being ripped off, and can remember, very recently, when they didn't have to go through such ridiculous shit to get a concert ticket.

Shortly after BJ announced their first Giants Stadium show in 1989, one of the boy bands (don't recall which one -- what does THAT tell you?) bragged that they'd scored a sellout there -- and I said, "Let's see how many MORE times they sell out Giants Stadium than Bon Jovi does!"

And who do you think has been squealing over Justin Bieber--black inner-city gangsta-wannabee teenage boys?

Thankfully, he wasn't opening for anyone I went to see last year!

It's also sad that there are STILL pit tickets left available for the show as of right now. Bon Jovi AND Kid Rock in Boston, and great seats are still available?? I realize that they are ridiculously priced, but this is a venue where that shouldn't matter. The same thing happened with the July 9th show. I really hope they learn a lesson from the sh*t way this tour has been handled.

Whether it a sign of the times due to coming out of the recession I dont know but I do think it definitely shows people aren't liking the new pricing system which seems to have been adopted with 'gold', 'diamond' etc it's quite a shame! Most musicians talk about playing live being the fun part of the industry yet the fans are being robbed blind and the fun sucked out!

I love gigs, the atmosphere, the thrill and obviously the enjoyment of live music yet the system has got to change.
I start to see the benefits of this : next european tour will be very cheap. I'll buy my tickets only a few days prior to the shows @ discount prices. Totally no stress about being able to buy tickets. I'll go for one GC ticket & al the rest last minute GA's.

So, who's bitching about high ticket prices??? Just be smart an you can do super deals.

What does that tell you?
Over here in Europe, she would not fill a club with a capacity over 2000 seats.
People'd go like: Taylor who? - It's all relative.
Oasis can sell out any stadium in UK, but not a single one outside of the UK

This doesn't look good, from any angle you look at it......
The band can easily remain amongst the most grossing bands cause they charge a flat fee for playing. This is more a promotors' problem i guess.
Trouble for next tour cause they will not want to take the risk to organise Jovi.
