That's what I don't understand anyway, with such a vast collection of songs; even prior to the release of the boxset, why they insist on playing the same songs. I mean, if that was me I would want some variation in my setlists and after 20 years you know that you have a big fanbase and that the amount of new fans is smaller than the established fans that come to the concert, spice it up a little. After seeing Springsteen I realised that BJ are not doing that, they just rehash the same old stuff and that is a shame, especially with the amount of great songs that they have. |
IMO they play songs that Jon can sing in a decent key without burns himself out...that's why they started play a song like "Raise your hands" or "Wild is the wind" three years ago (easy to sing) and they play songs like "These days", "Something to believe in" "Always" not very often.
Plus there are songs they can't take away by the set...I think LOAP, BM, YGLABN will always be in the set list.
I'm afraid also I'll sleep when I'm dead.
One thing is sure...more fantasy would be appreciated by every fan.
