So thank you very much for that banner That performance was really special. My girlfriend back then (my wife right now) did not know LTM before and after the show she fell in love with it and played it very often on her mp3 player. It is such a great song, just like the whole TD album.

Jon says this in the WWB book and I think he could be talking about Ashton Gate.

"I would never go out there and do a one and a half hour show. You can't. If I don't do two, two and a half, Ifeel unfulfilled. I get mad. We had one night on this last european tour where we did an hour fifty five. The fan base knew it, I knew it. The band knew it."

I was at that show and remember it being hardly yet dark when they finished and feeling somehow disappointed. However,I think they were playing to a strict curfew as the stadium is right in the middle of a residential area. I was in the stand surrounded by casuals who sat down for most of the show chatting, there was obviously less atmosphere and audience involvement where we were. From that point of view I did feel we hadn't had the best of them that night, but I told myself that they were saving themselves for London. I thought at the time apart from LTM it seemed an autopilot show. Perhaps I was too critical? Obviously it is always a different experience in the Golden Circle from up in the stand, and then I saw the documentary and saw Jon was stressing about the Central Park concert at the time also.

I do have great memories of that night though, I was ecstatic to hear LTM and that made the whole night, it made up a bit for ALWAYS missing Always! IBTFY was I think particularly moving I thought as I was sure Richie was singing just for Heather who had apparently gone into rehab a couple of days before. I took my son along and it was his first BJ show and he loved all of it, as did my friend who is now my BJ tour buddy, not a total Jovi addict yet, but i'm working on it!
