Bristol show added to UK tour 2011

Oh don't say that (That horrible concert is well forgotten in my mind), I did get tickets for Bristol as realistically I can do it as a day-trip with no sleeping overs which is something I can't do now with a little boy. I wish I could do some of the others but they are in the middle of the week with no returning back home options after the show.

If it is another HULL at least we will never forget it ... hull was a nightmare but on another hand it was a show that showed us a lot of thing many would have prefer to ignore all the rest of their life .. Jon can be a real jerk and worse and this for no valid reason ... he does is a DIVA

What happened in Hull??????

You can problaby make a search in the forums here and read all about it, not sure how far back the old post are here.

However Hull was added at the very last min but when we say very last minute it was basically a few days before the European tour was over and it was so odd nobody could understand where it came from. What I understood was that it was a contract issue and Jon was quite against playing it so much he made it very clear during the concert. I can't recall the exact words he used / swore in one of the songs and just his mood was awful. It was too obvious and for us who were in the 1st few rows was unbearable, I was actually counting the songs so that I could leave that concert. Maybe someone can add more details and/or correct me if I was wrong.

Do I have to do this one more ****ing time?

It still is a very intriguing concert that I would like to see more of.

Is that what he said? unbelievable! I have read the thread and watched the youtube clips and understand what you mean now. What was he thinking? Sorry for all of you too who paid your money for that.

the beginning of HULL was normal ... jon turned bizarre inside the show like after the first 40 minutes all of sudden he got mad ... and wanted to show us all he was mad .. we the crowd waited all day into the heavy cold rain ... it's not like we were some lazy bastards drinking eating and ignoring them ...a friend used to say we all looked like human condoms - with our rain poncho and garbage bags bought from last minutes sellers inside the venue (the guy walked the pit with them instead of beers) we were freezing and were soaked to the bones (coz the rain ponchos arrived too late)

Jon was a real jerk that day and NOTHING said afterwards could excuse his behavior ....I heard some roll eyes material like he was so sad because he heard about Adam Sambora being terminally ill ... WTH ... Poor Mr Sambora to be used like that ....Adam Sambora was not his father but Richie's one why would Jon do that ... he was not sad he was mad to a point I have never seen him mad I think it was a business mad thing or a band member problem nothing to do with the crowd ....

the next day I met Jon in london (with a couple of fans with me ) I still laugh at it ... because I won't make along story about it but you could see how much he was worried he could get some nasty feedback from the fans .. he was walking the street alone back from his daily run dripping sweat and was asked by a friend that was with me to *stop* and guess what ... he did ! he did stop and he was not making the leave me alone face ... I am sure he was worried he could get punched as he was without any protection or guard LOL ...he knew he had been a real prick the day before he acted cautious (but my friend was not in hull and she was all nice about how great he is and all the usual stuff ..). the other fans with me , myself included , didn't move toward him didn't ask an autograph didn't take pictures didn't even wave barely looked at him ... as we ignored him big time - beside my friend talking to him - he was the one who waved hi at us we waved back a polite hi ... and we remained seated on the ground no photo no smile to him nothing from us zippo ...

sorry for the story sounding like some gossip but it was to say he knew he was a jerk that day in hull he fully knew it , it was not something he should ever have done to the fans and he seemed to feel bad about it the next day

well.. yes but to leave him without our support in the bad guy situation was priceless ...
