When you go to numerous shows you get to know their moods, Jon was in a stinker at Hull and didn't everyone know it. In the end, my feelings were, well if you can't be bothered then neither can I! I don't think he even stood near Richie at the end of wanted. Saying that though, I spoke to people that only did the Hull show and thought they were amazing. God know what they would think if they saw them on a good night

Was it the first time you have met him? You say it in such a matter of fact way. At risk of sounding like a backstager I think if he had flashed a smile I think I might have forgiven him anything! Well.. almost anything. LOL.

So, do we think Bristol is a contractual thing and run the risk of a lacklustre show, or at worst Hull 2, with Jon having seen Hyde Park as the main event? Times are hard and my "disposable income" as Jon puts it, is limited...What to do????????

No it looks like they had a gap to fill depending on ticket sales and the strength of the Greatest Hits. The UK tour looked pretty sparse to begin with tbf.

Hmm, I live down south and refrained from buying Manchester tickets as I assumed they would do another gig down here. However Manc GC tickets have long since gone and it is pretty clear that the only extra date is now going to be Bristol (dont want to go to Hyde Park).
Is it that awkward to get to the ground? I would want a few drinks and it looks as though the train is a pain and getting a taxi would surely be a nightmare?
Any suggestions?

Last time I stayed in a hotel in Clifton and got a cab in to the stadium, but he had to drop us off in the middle of the road because the traffic was so bad, so leave in plenty of time to get there. I had immense difficulty getting back thanks to getting lost (if only I had my iphone back then with maps on!) and eventually managed to get a cab back to the hotel. From what I remember its quite a distance away from the main Temple Meads station, but fairly close to a small local station but not sure what sort of service runs there.

By the way noticed this note on Seetickets: PLEASE NOTE: DIAMOND CIRCLE TICKETS WILL BE ON SALE TUESDAY 14th DECEMBER AT 11am. The capacity for the circle is estimated at approximately 750 people total (subject to change per market).

that was not the first time I met him no no ... not sure if in english it sounds like that as i am french I just mean I met him in the street the next day ... and no the point was to NOT pretend like we all forgot and forgave him with a magic smile (it was not that kind fo smile neither) .... he was not having the usual seductor sort of smile more the embarassed guy that don't know what else to do but have shy smile ... (I could have slapped him that day actually)

I am pretty sure bristol won't be hull but maybe bristol 2008 which was a small show but with a gem in it so for me it was well worth it

Thanks - that does concern me a little as the other half will get a bit miffed by all of that hassle.

I saw that on Seetickets too (I had been looking at Ticketmaster to no avail but then stumbled on See via the ashton gate website). Sorry, but I would never pay Diamond prices. I would expect a go on the drums at that price.

The price you're seeing for the Diamond Circle is for a package (see below), not just for a ticket. Backstage has made tickets in the DC available, and for most venues, the prices haven't been bad at all.

INCREDIBLE VIP EXPERIENCE CONCERT TICKET INSIDE OF THE DIAMOND CIRCLE+

- VIP PRE SHOW HOSPITALITY INCLUDING COMPLIMENTARY FOOD AND BEVERAGE (subject to local laws & availability)
- PRE-SHOW PRIZES & GIVEAWAYS - INCLUDING AUTOGRAPHED MEMORABILIA & LIMITED EDITION ITEMS (subject to availability)
- PRE-SHOW MUSIC - PLAYING YOUR FAVORITE BON JOVI HITS
- ON-SITE PRE-SHOW VIP HOST
- ONE EXCLUSIVE BON JOVI VIP CANVAS BAG (created exclusively for VIP package buyers)
- ONE OFFICIAL BON JOVI SOUVENIR TOUR PROGRAM
- ONE LIMITED EDITION BON JOVI VIP TOUR LAMINATE & MATCHING LANYARD
- VIP PRIORITY CHECK-IN++
- SEPARATE VIP ENTRANCE++
- RESERVED VIP BATHROOMS++
- RESERVED VIP BAR DURING THE SHOW++
- VIP MERCH STAND++
- EARLY ENTRY INTO THE PRE SHOW PARTY++
(Please note that early entry does not gain you access to the Diamond Circle area early. It only allows you access to the pre show party before general doors open)

PLEASE NOTE:
+ There will not be a reserved area for VIP buyers inside of the Diamond Circle. The pre show party area will be located away from the Diamond Circle. You have the option of moving between your ticket in the Circle and the pre show party area. The capacity for the circle is estimated at approximately 750 people total (subject to change per market).
++ Where available
+++ All venues are general admission are there are no guarantees on specific standing proximity to the stage

strictly speaking about tickets, no extras included, at least for the shows in portugal and spain, the difference between a golden circle and a diamond circle ticket was roughly US $20/$25. small difference considering the ticket prices.
