Default Buffalo review - The Truth

Ok ok, This was my third Bon Jovi show ever. Second on this tour. I went to Toronto for the other 2. I will start by saying this... the Goo Goo Dolls put on a great show... they really had a good one for the home crowd and as much as i wasn't too thrilled to see them again, they converted me. The Crowd was really into it, showing the pride of having their home band up there. Jonny Resinek thanked Bon Jovi for allowing them the chance to open and unlike toronto they came back for an encore.

On to the main event (sort of). The boys did the typical Bounce intro and Jon came out to a pretty loud cheer, Bounce was good. PROBLEM. At the beginning of the second verse (This ain't no game...) Richie's guitar cut out and he had to walk over to get another one and 10 seconds of BOUNCE didnt have guitars....oh well... i guess it happens to everyone. Typical setlist so there's no surprises there, on to BAD NAME, one of the most embarressing moments as a jovi fan, the crowd is singing along and at the end Jon wants everybody to end it? and you couldnt even hear the crowd, i was in shock, and i think jon was too. So once again duting WILD IN THE STREETS Richie's guitar was cutting in and out and he replaced guitars at least 3 times, i felt so bad for him up there. The boys breezed through the setlist very quickly alot of the time there were fans sitting down, which im not used to at a Bon Jovi concert. Towards the end of the show they finished with Born To Be my Baby and the crowd was done...some people were leaving? i dont get it. After Raise Your Hands Jon says "Do I Finally have your attention?" They left and waited for the cheers to get them back out.... i think the Goo Goo Dolls got a bigger ovation, (im not joking). The Boys came back out for Keep The Faith and Jon didnt do his little Jungle interlude and thats weird cause ive never heard KTF without it. Bad Medicine and shout were typical, the crowd was pretty good for Shout but come on, Buffalo was definatly not rocking. Im not trying to insult the fans of Buffalo or anything like that.... But if there is anyone that went to the Toronto show out there be very happy you got the Long setlist that you did. Other than that im a little disappointed that I paid to go see that after i saw them in toronto. Overall, Both toronto shows i saw were much better and i think i'll just stick to Toronto newt time.
