Question:
Can I take a digital camera to a Bon Jovi show or will it be taken away from me? My camera can record little bits of video too. And if my camera breaks before the show can I take my video camera and take digital pictures with that?

Answer:
We're not telling you what to do but recording the show, audio or video is illegal. Bring a disposable camera - that's your safest bet. Anything that looks like anything other than a camera you are using to take personal mementos with will be questioned.

I don't actually have a digital camera myself but I know the new ones can record bits and pieces of video... And just on New Years Eve I witnessed a girl recording a show (not a Jovi show obviously) on audio even after she had been told not to video the gig -- she just told the security guy that she's taking digital pics with the camera (which she did) and left it rolling and thus managed to capture most of the gig on audio, even though the camera wasn't directed at the band.

What's your point? Are you complaining again or not? If you are then nobody cares, if you're not then ignore the first half of this sentence. If you feel that you need permission to ask if it is okay to take a camera into a concert then I pity you. If you don't then ignore my last sentence. It is easy to 'smuggle' a camera into a gig.
