Default Cameras/Video Recorder/Boobs Question

So the tickets tell us, "No cameras/recording devices". Yet we all see people somehow get away with it anyway. My question is this: Have any of you ever been within the first 5 rows, and successfully filmed or took photos, without getting in trouble, having your device taken away, or worse yet, get thrown out of the show?

You see, I can't just have front row and not take any photos or video. It is going to be one of the greatest days of my life, and I want to have photos to have as memories. But I am afraid, if I get caught (which I will, being in front row), that I'll get kicked out. What are your opinions on this?

Also, my friends at work have been discussing whether or not I should flash JBJ. Like, whip up my shirt. I think it's a funny idea, but I am scared to death to do this. But if I get that smile out of him, it'll all be worth it. Opinions?

I've been in the front row and taken pictures. But it depends on the country/show if you're allowed to do it or not. If everyone else gets away with it, you can do it as well. If not, try to take pictures when the security guys aren't looking. The band usually doesn't mind as long as you don't use flash.

I say go for it and post pictures here. Or just email them to me, any way is fine. I'm even on MSN. Actually, if you want to practice, I'd love to play Jon.

if you're using a disposable camera or "cheap" digital one it shouldn't be a problem.

they usually don't bother as long as it's not "pro" gear. as soon as you bring in something with changeable lenses etc... you'll attract attention.

I got front row just being extremely super lucky. Mostly because there was no pre-sale, and no advertising for the concert in Edmonton, since the show is in Calgary. Also because the girl at Ticketmaster was lovely, and she got into the system first.

I don't think I need flashing practice, but thanks for looking out for me, Ice.

I think bringing the disposable is the best option. But it would probably need a flash to work properly, or take half decent photos. I was thinking of buying a camera/video cellphone, but I would hope it wouldn't be taken away. It would be cooler to have video anyway, and then there would be no flash.

My biggest concern is being right at the front, with the security guards right in front of me.

Damn. I could also rate any pictures you might have of your previous flashes?

Yeah, disposable is the way to go. Have a couple hidden and one you use, in case you have to give them the camera. With digital cameras or cellphones it's too easy to delete the images.

They move and look the other way occasionally.

I highly doubt it's going to be that bad ... when I went to see Guns N' Roses last year, there were disclaimers handed out while we were queuing warning that the use of camera phones was forbidden ... and we all now how much Axl Rose hates his shows to be recorded. But once the show (eventually) started, people were taking loads of pictures and I didn't see anything get done about it
