Default Can We Get Wristbands @ London & Manchester for GA?
HI!

I was jus wondering will there be a pit @ hyde park and old trafford?

will wristbands be given out to the guys in the general admission area in these places too? if soo how many hours before will it be advisible to line up?

I dont' think there will be wristbands for regular GA ticket holders this time, at least not for those GA ticket holders who are not in the fan club. Why? Because Ticketb'stard took it upon themselves to sell Gold Circle/Standing tickets for all the UK venues. In the past, there were only one type of GA tickets sold, meaning the regular field/pitch tickets. If you queued up at the venue from early on and were able to enter the venue among the first 1000 or 1500 people, you could enter the pit and get a wristband at the pit gate. But this year Ticketb'stard decided to charge an extra £10 per ticket for something they call Gold Circle or Gold Standing tickets, which essentially are tickets specifically sold for the pit area right in front of the stage. Therefore, since TM has more or less sold out the entire pit capacity already for all the UK gigs, there probably won't be any wristbands issued for people who have regular GA tickets (and who are not in the fan club).

Ticketmaster have sold TOO MANY tickets for the pit and are having to put some fans in steats, so there certainly wont be any GA ticket holders in the pit at old trafford. Sorry

Whats Wrong with that. If youre willing to pay the extra and get a guaranteed spot then whats the problem. No queing for wrtistbands, no confusion, its nice and simple and i like the way ticketmaster have done it. If you want to be in the pit, buy a Gold ticket . Maybe im a bit biased as i got gold tickets, but hey.......

You may think theres nothing wrong with that! What about Fan Club members who pay £25 a year and then have to pay £45 for a GOLD Hyde Park ticket?! Come on, that aint right! It does seem like a good idea but they should give FC members more benefits if they plan to sell tickets at £45 plus booking fee for the privilege of standing closer to the stage.

I agree!! Some "bright spark" came up with the idea of Gold Standing/Seating just to squeeze a bit more £££££ out of us, knowing full well that there are enough diehard fans out there who would just cough up for them regardless, plus it's rough on the guys who are in the fanclub but could only get their paws on GA for whatever reason!!

The pit at Erfurt was small....

The amount of Gold tickets sold is large..

I'm hedging my bets at the moment at 3 areas...

FC

Gold

GA

But I guess they'll tell us... the night before or something
