I make it a must to travel through every summer, and is in my top 5 states that I have narrowed down to retiring in.
Ooo, I may take you up on that offer. I'll definitely let you know if I plan that trip.

There's not a whole lot of ANYBODY living in Wyoming. There are less than 500,000 people in the entire state.

Cheyenne is what we call out here a "cow" town and Frontier days is probably the biggest "money" week of the year for alot of the businesses there so don't expect anything to be cheap and don't wait to try and get hotel rooms they will be gone!!! Cheyenne isn't that big and while there are other places within a couple of hours, Fort Collins, CO, Boulder Co etc.... you will need a vehicle to get yourself around. This part of the West doesn't believe much in public transportation, so don't expect any.

Expect a full compliment of cowboys/cowgirls in town for the rodeo, alot of bikers and alot of time out in the Wyoming sun, which by the way in July is hot, dusty and proably windy. Seats are usually GA so expect to Queue up and hang around alot. It is fun but not for everyone, and accomidations run more toward Motel 6 than the Ritz so be cool with that before you go.

Becky there are some beautiful places in Western Wyoming you should see if I can help with anything as far a places to go and planning info just let me know be happy to guide you through the wild untamed west.

Since I live in a place where they haven't played in nearly 20 years, I'm open to going anywhere and different places are best because it gives me a chance to see more of the world. Top that with the fact that Wyoming has been on my "Gotta Go There" list forever and this show does have some appeal to me, though not enough to fight a line starting at 6:00 AM. I may plan my Wyoming vacation for that week and go to the show, but it won't be that I'm going to Wyoming to see Bon Jovi. I'll be going to Wyoming to see Wyoming and timing it to see Bon Jovi too.
OK so enjoy Wyoming my dear Becky and I am so happy to know it's a choice ...I am sure they will have a blast to play there a place they choosed to play .... in a cow town ... like rainsong is saying ... rodeo and bon jovi ... a choice ... wonderful !!! 2 thumbs up

plenty of ppl will be there for sure it's the event of the year of the middle of nowhere ..I don't bet on the plenty of fans .. let's not mix the 2 ... if it was to play in a fan area they wouldn't go there
they are targetting a new market... there it's not fans unless it wouldn't be a new market
