Jon said what the video was gonna be like, but I had a 3yr old yelling at me so I missed it.

Cathy, the DJ had asked Jon if he liked making videos and he said, "no with a capital H, I HATE it" and she said, but you get to have beautiful women in them and he said, "no, it's not that kind of video". And then just said that the lyric was too strong for that and it would be a storytelling video. So, we'll see.

I saw Jon Bon Jovi this evening!! I can't believe it. He was in the lobby of the Four Seasons in Chicago, looking for someone. He looked all around, then just a few feet away from my out of town friends and myself, he pulled out his cell phone and made a call, then started to walk away. One of my friends, who was on her cell phone talking to her husband at the time, quickly asked him to say hi to her husband - he did. Then I took the opportunity to ask him if I could shake his hand - he did. Then he walked a little bit away and talked for a while to Sheryl Crow (who had a baby carriage with her.) Then the person he was waiting for arrived - that lady violinist, I think - and they left the hotel. I still can't believe it, as it was so unexpected! I went there to meet friends who were in town to see Eric Clapton's Guitar Festival, and there JBJ was. So, I had to come here to see what he was doing in Chicago. I looked up the link that was just posted. According to wtmx.com, Bon Jovi is recording an exclusive concert at Chicago's PBS station, WTTW's Grainger Studio for an A&E special.

Cool - sounds exciting. I wonder if they still go out to local clubs and play a little in the evening? Probably not with the family.
