Wow. Some of the comments directed at Bon Jovi are harsh. We're allowed to be appropriately critical because we're fans, but it bothers me somewhat to hear nasty things from others.

I used to let it, but then I realized, they're the ignorant ones who sound stupid.

Yes, they're often the ones who don't give Bon Jovi any credit for having survived past the 80s hairband cliché.

Ticket sales have been fine (excellent actually) on this tour as usual. The problem they're having now is, shows announced since Richie decided to go home crying to his mommy.

I feel for you. Another example of the decision makers not giving a shit about us poor cash-cows. If they could get away with it they'd cancel and keep your ticket money too.

I read on another forum that apparently the Browns' 'people' asked the press to contact Bon Jovi's publicist about this cancellation.

My first thought: Bon Jovi has a publicist?!

We didn't cancel the concert, Bon Jovi cancelled on us. He decided to take his talents to Virginia Beach.

I don't think the rep of the owner and all his shady dealings helped the Browns much and there is more coming out by the day but it does suck for those that had flights.
