hehe i agree, i dont like this kind of stage, this is for boybands like Coldplay, Take That.....
BJ stages from Bounce tour and OWN tour were just great. Also stage from last tour wasnt bad either, they add a little fireworks and thats it

Give me some lights and a big screen, and I'm happy. Sure U2 and ACDC shows were spectacles when I saw them, but its all about the music for me. When I have seen Metallica, Bruce and then scores of smaller 'theatre-sized' bands, it has all been pretty simple.

But I do admit, that if you are sat half a kilometre away up high in the nosebleed seats somewhere, then I guess a bit of a 'show' would be a bonus...

Indeed, why did they drop using pyros and fireworks. The used it pretty heavy untill the td tour. Ktf tour had them during four or five songs. I remember the crowd reacting pretty excited on it.

Hmm, i guess coldplay isnt exactly a boyband. And their show isnt exactly take that or spice girls. And the discussion about having a bigger or smaller show ... well just look at what jovi did until 95.

Own was the great exception.

These bands are "B and C level"?

It bothers me that people actually think that Coldplay is a "Boy Band"

Bon Jovi is more of a "Boy Band" than Coldplay.

Yeah true. Chris Martin would be mortally offended if he heard someone call his band a "boy band".

Do boy bands actually exist anymore? its 2012

Bon Jovi are at least a good band where as Coldplay are beyond shit. Don't think I've had a feeling other than depression whilst having to sit through a song of theirs.

They also had a song with rihanna. Disgusting.

You like Arctic monkeys, your opinion is therefore invalid.

Coldplay have plenty of upbeat songs, and as a live show they are in the same league as modern day Bon Jovi easily.
