I'd rather they didnt do Golden Circle and if you bought standing tickets it was all down to "luck" on the day. Why should we pay extra to get near the front?

What you've actually bought is tickets for the 5th show, not the "last" show.... We all know how Bon Jovi/AEG operate - announce a set of dates, claim they're the only dates, then add a few more afterwards!

They did it with the Bounce tour - last night was Hyde Park, then they added the KC stadium.
They did it with the HAND tour when it was supposed to be at Wembley and the last night of the European leg. Announced one night only on the Saturday, everyone rushed to get tickets, and they went and added Sunday night!

AEG did it with Jacko - 10 dates suddenly became 50.

Will be the same with the O2 - 5 dates announced for now, but by lunchtime Saturday I guarantee there will be another 5 dates after the 13th June!

Yeah I know thats a possibility but with everyone saying they are not going to buy tickets due to the prices I'm not sure they could sell out any more concerts.

I do agree about the gold circle, and being down to luck - but there are some people who want to pay that bit extra to guarantee seats (I am not including myself), so basically whatever the band/promotors do with tickets they are not going to please everyone.

I just don't see the point in complaining to the one show thats all....

Thank God someone else sees my point of view. The 02 shows are NOT part of the normal touring schedule as such. I'm looking forward to being able to see them in stadiums around europe in 2011, and quite happy that gives me extra time to sort my finances out. In the meantime, I'll go to one 02 show (maybe more if I luck out though).

Yeah I'm looking forward to the stadium tour too! The o2 is just an added extra, which is why I'm not bothered about having great seats

KC Stadium was the HAND Tour not the Bounce Tour - Hyde Park was the last show of the European leg before they got here and remained so.

They added a second night at MK in 2006 purely because the Wembley gig fell through and after relocating to The Bowl, the capacity is less than at Wembley so they pretty much had to add the second night. The loss of revenue from Wembley was also what prompted them to add the infamous Hull show.

I don't think they'll add more than two additional nights at the O2 purely because so many people are justifiably turning their noses up at the prices.

yeah, and the fact that the Paris show is pretty much straight away after the O2 shows may indicate that the 13th June will be the last O2 show, any others will probably be before that date

1) In what possible way?

2) How does that justify the prices?

I think though that we can take this one step futher and complain to The One Show (bbc1). They are always asking for stories and if there are a group of us that contact them, we are more likely to get our voices heard. I know the band are in the country at the end of the week, so this is our time to get our points of view over to them. They are not going to want any adverse publicity at the same they are realeasing a book, album and single, not to mention trying to sell out tour dates at the O2.

Whether The One Show contact the band or AEG, that's up to them, but any little helps.

If you scroll down, this link asks for stories that Dom can investigate and get his teeth into.

Would like to know your thoughts,

Thanks

Yeah right. Not sure I want to see them pulled through the mud on national TV. I dont' think this is the way to go about it.
The only way the band would get the message is for nobody to buy the bloody tickets!
