To me it looked as if the band thought Jons hand movements were signalling the band to end the song prematurely, obviously due to the song ending with an instrumental outro and with Jon having no guitar and aimlessly wandering the stage it wouldn't be surprising for Jon to do so... Hence why the outro was cut shorter than usual and why the finish sounded very obrupt and rushed! Gotta be!

The audience was much more into Chapple of Love than Livin in Sin

I dont find it that good.... of course the chorus is good cause jon can obviously still sing it... but the rest is not that good. especially backing vocals on the pre-chorus suck.

The ultimate killer version of LIS (for me) is this one:

The ad-libs and the why Jon screams the "on the dotted line" part sends shivers down my spine every time I listen to it.

I think I have to agree with you. I like this one far better than the Chile 1990 version.

Christ, listen to Jon's vocals from this. It's goddamn orgasmic to listen to.
Naturally....but all things considering. Its 2013, Jon's vocals have been ropey to start off the tour with. But this is pretty good.

The best version of Living In Sin i've heard is this live version from 1989. Its on the Keep The Faith single (I think). Here is is:

4:20 to the end probably is the most spine tingling moment you will ever hear from Bon Jovi. Unbelievable

His nasality kills the chorus for me ... Back in 2006 he sang this song much better than he does now. But I'd rather get this version than don't get it at all.
