I was so hoping for an amazing show and Jon to be on fire. My gut instinct about not getting tix was correct. First time since SWW that I have not been excited about a Jovi tour here and that sucks It's just not the same vibe anymore. Don't know if I feel angry or just sad. Hopefully a nice long break, they regroup (with Richie) and get to go out on a high, not fizzle out like it feels like now.

I feel just like you Sue...tho came to terms with it all last tour so not so gutted this time round.

So after reading all the posts and then telling myself off for being so critical of the band I love I went back and listened to most of the show from Montreal a month ago and Jon sounded pretty good with an amazing setlist. I will give him the benefit of the doubt and assume that he's got some kinda throat and voice issues which kinda makes sense because he seems to not only have lost his range but his control as well. I don't think his voice could just disappear within a month if he's not sick.

Since Im in a forgiving mood I should also be a bit easier on him with the set lists. I guess with a broken down voice atm his choices are limited. Let's hope that he can fix whatever throat gremlins he has within the next week so that he's AWESOME again for the final two shows!

Edit: ok, after the solo it's crap as well, but before that it sounds pretty good to me and the notes aren't higher than in Bad Medicine. Weird...

Ehm, he's right though. You come up with examples where Jon sounds shit yet you declare it a good performance, while a similar performance is later considered bad. That to me sounds like you actually don't have any clue of what you're talking about.

When you're posting your personal opinion on something on a messageboard, expect someone else to post his personal opinion on your personal opinion. Sorry, but that's just the way it is and if you can't handle that a messageboard is just not for you.
