I still say We Don't Run would have been the perfect single and a missed opportunity for Jon to prove himself...

Agree... I'm sure once the album is released there will be a handful of songs that could be swapped between the two... To me this is a double album or a part 1 and 2 deal... If you include bonus songs, that's 30 new songs within a year... impressive

Will see what the Europe prices are like if they announce Europe but don't expect it to be much more expensive than previous years (depends on the venue though I guess.)
Of the shows currently on sale, the cheapest is $37 behind the stage in the 300 level for St Louis. All the other shows' cheapest is in the $40s and some in the $50s. Not sure why the prices differ at the various venues but whatever.

I guess if you just want to be in the building and you're okay with only seeing the top of the back of their heads or watching the entire show from a screen, $37 isn't a bad price.

I know lots of fans are really ticked about these ticket packages. The band struggled to sell fewer packages last tour, what makes them think they will sell more now? Paying nearly $400 for a package that isn't even on the floor is insane! I guess I won't be sitting as close as I'd hoped. We'll see what comes up this weekend.

I got tickets for $61 each beside the stage. It didn't say obstructed view and they are across the aisle from the $150 ish tix so I think they will be okay. I'll be in the building and have an aisle seat so I'm happy.

I need to adopt this attitude.

They seem good tickets indeed.

I might be looking at the wrong place but I was checking Ticketmaster to see what the price range is and saw $150 tickets in a reasonable row (20-30ish) side of the stage but pretty good view. That's a very reasonable price which I'd happily pay (after a whole life of nosebleed tickets I might add lol)

So they are getting people's panties in a bunch over the outrageous prices for nothing? People are really angry and it's all they talk about. Unfortunately very talk about the album or the many positive reviews the band is getting for the live shows

There was a blog post I saw complaining about the rise in prices but it seemed to be from someone who does the expensive pit fan club tickets for which the prices have gone up markedly. You can understand the disappointment at the price rises but they weren't looking at normal tickets so it's not a totally fair representation.

But in a way, you reap what you sow when you buy those inflated price tickets, packages with t shirts & bags or the Runaway Tours stuff as they see you as a cash cow to be milked and they are very much doing it with these packages. So for those people, yes it's unfortunate but it's not a shock they are taking you for a ride, it just depends how far they can push it until the bite back becomes too much and they don't sell any.

However, with no European dates yet I can't judge what it'll be here and don't know enough on the US market to comment on normal tickets. For me £100 face value is always the ceiling, although more like £50-80 if I want friends to come, they will turn their noses up at anything more than that.

Its a bit different here with the stadium shows, the value tends to be a bit better, but I think they're on the cusp of going down to arenas unless the album is a mega hit, and so the prices may be higher to compensate.

But, thankfully there is the positive mentions for the music out there to outweigh some of the negativity over tickets.

Birmingham, Alabama. I did the join the fan club option in case I want to buy tix for other shows down the road. I'm eyeing Memphis.
