I thought the Twickers shows were much better performances than MK 06, and that the setlist were of a similar quality comparing the 2 pairs of shows

I was there also for both nights at M.K and honestly there were much greater than the Twickers shows. And believe me i would really love Twickers shows to surpass M.K ones.

May i remind you, that at M.K, 1st night only, they played "the boys are back in town". They played much better versions of BTBMB, bad medicine, raise yr hands, runaway with the timewarp thing and die 4 u at main set.

The encore had Blood on blood, saturday night - one of the most amazing versions ever heard, pls listen to it if you have it - , and livin in sin.

the boys are back in town sounded crap coz it was slow. Blood on blood didnt sound good coz jons voice was shot, and livin in sin was the same. Ok, we had I Feel Good in Bad Medicine, and a longer versions of some songs, rockin in the free world and these days on night 2, but the energy and performance was def better at Twickenham.

I mean the performances of Always and Dry county piss all over MK 06 really

why do people still go on about "rarities?"

I have seen Jovi about 20 times (London and MK shows) since 90 and can pretty much tell you the set list every time.
I would love some boxset , 7800 & 1st album stuff but it’s NEVER going to happen.
This was the LH tour but they only played 2 songs from LH on twickers 1st night so if they aint playing the newer stuff they certainly are not going to play any songs from a b-side or a rare track.
Id love a 20 year gig to mark the release of NJ (the best album they have ever done) – they could play 1 or 2 nights at Shepherds bush or Hammersmith Apollo go back to basics. Never gonna happen though.

I'm lucky because I go into a Bon Jovi concert knowing that whatever they play I'm going to make sure I have a blast. I'm not bothered about hearing rareties, yes its nice and yes there are songs I would like to hear, but it doesn't ruin the whole event for me if I don't get them. I think the bands performance and the crowd are more important - you are more likely to be rewarded with a surprise if the crowd are great supporters and I think the crowd from where I was standing at Twicks were fantastic. It seemed to me that the band were in great moods, joking amongst themselves, and they were enjoying themselves. They are never going to please everyone, and there are always going to be people who always want more, but I had the most amazing weekend.

Great review, and i agree with it all....both this tour and HAND tour hampden had the greatest atmosphere for me. the atmosphere at the HAND gig was the reason i made the trek up there again. and i wasn't dissapointed.

Twickers was great, didn't have the best atmosphere or the best setlist, but a happy mix of the 2.

i didn't think last year's could be beaten, but totally agree. i had chills.

Same, i love the Young Guns soundtrack, and after Sante Fe this is probably my favourite song, so i was really stoked too.
