Default Crazed Boston fan nearly knocked Jon offstage last night

Apparently, while singing Prayer last night in Boston, some girl in one of the pits ducked under the railing and ran full steam ahead into Jon's back as he was on one of the catwalks. Luckily he had the railing in front of him, which surely prevented him from falling off the stage. What would have happened if he had fallen off the side without the railing? He would have been seriously injured, at the least. If I were Jon, I'd get rid of the fan pits. He can't have crazy fans assaulting him at the shows. For anyone who gets up there, keep in mind that the band does this for the fans, and it could be taken away very easily. This idiot had front row seats. Not much use when you're kicked out of the concert during the 4th or 5th song. I hope she got arrested. Think, people!

AGAIN? OMG, how old are these chicks?

I really got the feeling it's not too long until they stop these on-stage-tickets at all because of some chicks who don't know to behave. They are in fact talking about stopping it because things like this happen often at the moment.

Sorry, but I absolutely can't understand such a behavior. What are they thinking?

I was at the show last night in Boston. This idiot OMG!!!!!!!!!

Poor Jon, Honest to God ya know what? It's assholes like this that ruin it for everyone else. POINT BLANK.

This woman , comes from Richie's side of the stage while Jon is singing on the opposite side of the stage, what a joke, she jumped out of the pit only to loose her balance, fall on her fat ass, then proceed to get up........and RUN! And I do mean RUN full steam ahead Like she was running for dear life, tackled Poor Jon, He had to literally grab the railing or he was going overboard and her too. MORON. What on earth possesed her? I mean really, if you cannot contain yourself, you have no BUSINESS ON STAGE.

Jon almost went ass over tea keattle , onto the floor, he never stood a chance , he didn't see her coming. All I could think was "OMG JON LOOK OUT" But I was 4th row and alas not close enough to give him the warning look. He was on the other side. I thought for sure he was going down, and I was upset, and scared for him. He just turned around after gaining his balance, hugged her and shot the look of death at security. It took forever for security, to get their SH*T together and get the looney off the stage. Poor Jon just stood their, grabbing his chest. She scared the crap out of him and he was stunned, and winded. He was gracious all along though, Gave her the "naughty girl" look and hugged her.......she wouldn't let go ~! She had a death like vise gripe on him ..........what a way to make an ass out of yourself in front of 20,000 people. I hope she is proud of herself. Loser.

Now me? Woudl I pull such a stunt? ABSOLUTLEY NOT!!!!!!!!!! She could have injured him or herself. By all intesive purposes he had every right to clock her. But the class act he is, he just grined and beared it.

I still wonder if he is truly ok. I mean she nailed him square, there i no way he isn't a little sore at least.

Jerk.......I hope she got thrown out, charges pressed against her and what ever else she needed to have done to her to make the point, NEVER EVER ASSAULT YOUR IDOL!!!!!!!!!!

honestly..........

I just can't understand people who react this way - I know that no matter which situation I would meet Jon, I would never scream or go frantic like that (more likely, I would paralyse)... I would never grab Jon or any of the members of the band, especially not on stage. Imagine if Jon had fallen down from the stage, or even taken a bad fall, and injured his knee or something - the whole tour would be ruined, and maybe even permanently injure Jon.

This behaviour is not acceptable, and is very stupid.

Morons like this are going to be the end of the stage fan pits and I say good riddance! It's not worth injuring the guys for fans to get their thrill. Once again, they give a lot and the fans abuse it. It's not just this type of thing, but also those women who think that if Jon is standing in front of them they have permission to grab, stroke, or touch him in ways that he doesn't want. I've seen him react negatively to that kind of "attention" more than once. If a man did the same thing to a female artist, he'd wind up with a lawsuit.

These kinds of women ruin it for the guys and for the rest of the fans who could contain themselves and treat the guys with respect if given the opportunity to be close to them.

Or how about this? IF (god forbit) he had fell... where would he have fallen? On top of fans perhaps? Then there would be lawsuits against JON for injuring the fans who ended up as his "cushion" - that idiot fan wasn't just taking her safety in her hands, she was endangering Jon's safety and all the fans in the area (as well as the guests of the band and the venue staff and security working below the catwalk!) This country is lawsuit happy - someone, even if a dimwitted fan tackles Jon and he falls, injuring others... who has the deepest pockets? Jon.
