crossing the boarder

Hey hoping someone can answer this question ...

I'm coming from Ontario to see the Buffalo show on thursday ... I was just wondering if you think i will be able to get across the boarder (given the curent state of the nation) without a passport or birth certificate???

the only thing i heard is that there are large delays getting over the border. as far as the passport and birth certificate, it cant hurt to have them however a drivers license is usually enough. i'll be there.
