maybe they decide to make a little acoustic tour if the record sells well (at least better than bounce and own)- should be possible as unplugged album mostly sell well (morissette, metallica, bryan adams,...) fingers crossed

right here comes my one big complaint!

IF the band are really intent on doing this acoustic format why not really throw the set around a little because it being stripped down raw to just acoustic guitars, percussion etc allows for them to mess with the set... all they need is a rough idea of ANY song they want to play and a lyrics sheet to remind jon if he's stuck

why do we get roughly the same 7 or 8 acoustic songs continuously... and let's face it the electric set for these format of shows is only changing by maybe one song at a time
This is true. they are the masters of acoustic, and as Jag said, where is Ride Cowboy Ride?! - We know they are capable of much more than this.

But I guess the argument here will be that the casual fan doesn't know any different and they have to play songs that they will know.

acoustic gives you the great freedom to experiment because you can **** up without most people noticing. i've just got hold of a richie acoustic boot and her basically made the set (and some of the words) up as he went along and it was great fun.

You may find the argument boring but it's because the same people always start the same argument and find the same complaints.
The band does a major concert.
It's *bad* enough they (dear god, no!) announce it to be partially acoustic - how many compaints does that render.
Could you imagine how many more complaints would arise if the band had the unmitigated gaul to actually perform songs the audience didn't know.
You're overestimated your casual fan. They won't tolerate shit they don't know. And, again, unless you're at the show, compaining while sitting on the sidelines is pointless.
You're constantly disappointeed in this band - why do you stick around.
Do you enjoy being disappointed?
