I'm enthusiastic when there's a reason for it. Jon singing Dry County is cool. Him missing the notes; not that much.

I thought from what ive watched that Jons performance is pretty near spot on. Hes not hitting any duff notes, hes not really straining and singing nasely like he has in the past.
Actually, you're wrong. But it's okay, you want to believe he was perfect, fine by me.

Yes he doesnt hit all the higher notes, but he sings them differently (rather have it dones this way than straining and croking out the high parts)..but it works great.
No, it doesn't. He's just dodging the high notes because he can't sing them. They should just lower the key if he really can't sing the song anymore. It was already ½ tone lower, maybe they should bring it down a step more, like ITA.

Guys! Stop arguing with Icey.

He probably heard the soundboard version of Dry County, he was there when they rehearsed it and of course,

he can hear the differences even if the sound was recorded with the micro of a digicam ...

so, stop telling him how the song was like, he knows it better.

Of course, all of you who think that Bon Jovi finally ROCKED and all of you who think that Jon was actually able to sing instead of making dodgy sounds as he was doing during the last tour, you guys are WRONG -

listen to Icey.

P.S.: If you are wondering about the form of my post, I am just making it easier for Icey to reply.

Mate no-one is right or wrong. I was stood next to you when the intro to DC started im pretty sure you didnt turn to me and say "I wonder which octive Jon is gonna sing this in". My point is there is a hell of a difference in ripping apart a poor quality vid clip to actually being there and hearing the song. I only realised how much Jon "cheated" by reading the lyrics when I watched the clips at home. It certainly didnt detract from my enjoyment of hearing it thats for sure.
