Dave changed places? Seats behind the stage?

I thought the reason Dave may have been moved was to get more / better camera angles for the screens. There was a staircase as part of the stage setup to the left of Dave. There was a camera person camped on the steps many times during the show, getting video of Dave. The camera person was out of view (for the most part- from where I was sitting you were able to see him), and less intrusive to the stage and the show. The backing players were basically never shown on the screen and were in an out of the way area on the stage which was not as easy to film (without having a camera person stading in the middle of the stage). I guess THIS is why Dave was moved.

Simply put, I think Dave was moved to allow more screen time for him, without having a camera person standing in plain view on the stage.

I better make sure when they come to my town I get seats towards the left side of the stage since the band is basically middle-left of the stage and those other "people" are on the right side. can u imagine going to a show and all you see in front of u is bObBy BandiEra and that other keyboard guy and not dave and richie??? That would suck...especially since Richie doesn't use a wireless guitar setup and of coarse dave can't move around given he plays keyboards.

From what I can see, Dave is placed there so he is sat by the bar. the others are sat around the table (as in the ''additional members''). the ''real'' band members are around the bar.

It's disturbing to me, after what Richie has gone through, that they made the stage a bar. Especially that in many of the picutres I've now seen of Richie, he has ''beer'' above his head.

No one can tell me that they designed thi stage before Richie's problems came to a head in June. They weren't even planning on touring then. to me, it's disrespectful like so much of what is happening on this tour.

That's a very interesting take on it. I never noticed the bar/table thing. Although after watching the youtube thing, it really gave off an "us and them" vibe with the band the hired hands.

just on a kind of related note ACDC released Back in Black after Bon Scott died from alcohol related shenanigans....containing the song, have a drink on me....i always thought that was quite insensitive!

i just think that they wanted to re create the video to lost highway, in the bar. and i don't reckon they really thought to much about it..

So that's 4 additional mucisians, 5 f you count Hugh.
and 4 original band members, 5 if you count Hugh.
man oh man.

Jeff is not there this tour.

it's actually quite sad, 5 members do/did a better job then those 5 + 4.

Maybe they should get rid of the extra musicians and get an extra singer for backing up Jon when he screws up...
