Totally agreed. If it turns out that this has been my last BJ concert, there couldn't have been a better way to end my run of Jovi shows over the last 10 years (give the circumstances of this tour).

The setlist looks like crap, and virtually identical to every other setlist so far. They have hundreds of songs, yet they sing the same ones over and over.

That said, people would have loved it - my mate who was there said it was amazing. She enjoyed it, and that's all that mattered.
I think tonight will be a massive show - its the final show, so its sure to be a good one.

The final show is in Brisbane on the 17th, although tonight has been billed as a "special encore performance" or something.

This was a solid performance. There was a great atmosphere before and during the show.

Kid Rock surprised me and I didn’t mind his show and quirky sense of humour. He and has band sounded great playing one cover with BJ.

Jon worked his guts out to engage with the crowd and had enormous energy, confirming he is a brilliant showman. However his voice struggled towards the end.

The Sleep When I'm Dead medley was brilliant and the highlight, along with KTF and BM.

David proved his worth and sang brilliantly throughout the night and Tico was as solid and reliable as always. I was surprised not to miss Ritchie that much (except on DOA). Phil X did an excellent job and really enjoyed himself.

I was very disappointed by the crowds lack of knowledge of songs post Have a Nice Day album. Why pay $250 in diamond to hear some 80s and 90s songs and not know the rest. Jon tried a sing-along with BWC and got no response. I felt so bad for him but he moved on.

All in all a great night and can’t wait to see them again tonight at the SEC.

Since Bon Jovi's Twitter has been answering to some band-related questions recently, would it be a good time to spam them about bringing in rarities (Shot Through the Heart, WITW, Undivided, etc.) for the next show?

With 2 shows left I doubt they are going to make any tour debuts but you can try. Something closer to Never Say Goodbye (just Jon acoustic after all) or the Fighter may be more realistically possible though. As a side note Obie told my mate he was trying to get Jon to do Fahrenheit songs in Perth and Jon just flipped him the bird.

Instead of talking about the music like he once did "we don't want a fancy production, we want the music to do the talking" he's talking about a giant car called Sofia. Who gives a shit? I still have hopes for the future, but then Jon has to wanna focus on building up his voice and not focus on if the tour is the largest in the world of if the album's going number one.

Anyway, I really hope there will be two good shows to end the tour. Hopefully they'll deliver a couple of rare tunes.
