Also, there was apparently some personal reasons I wont go in to..but they don't take away from the fact that he is not needed. Jon at one point seemed to want an E-street band style lineup I think, with Jeff, Lorenza, Bobby etc.
I hear your point but what other incident? He was in the backing band in 2003 on wards, 3 years before Richie had any sign of problems. I don't think Bobby would have been brought on that early if that had anything to do with it. The Bounce tour was loaded with samples, that probably had much more to do with it.

And I kinda understand that there were these extra guys on Lost Highway tour cause they needed them to play these some songs and it was kinda cool. Like Red Hot Chili Peppers has these extra guys on their current tour to play the new songs. But why on earth is Bobby still there?! He is just hanging around and spitting the solos with Phil or Richie. I think Whole Lot of Leaving is the the only song where he is making himself useful.

I wonder what Richie was thinking after Lost Highway tour when he realized that Bobby is still standing on the stage and not leaving.

Plus he is gaining 3 pounds every show. On next tour they need an extra stage just for Bobby to stand. It's going to cost more money. Which will again affect to the ticket prices...

And there is really no use for that song to be the setlist. NONE whatsoever.

Not even accurate. He's all over the new songs (mainly post 2000 but playing lead on a ton of the WAN ones). His tone is stupidly thin too.

Song Bobby actually is needed in to play:
When We Were Beautiful
What Do You Got
Water Made Me
What About Now
Whole Lot of Leavin'

Song he does some cool stuff in:
Dry County (the harmony in the intro)
Wanted Dead or Alive (some guitar licks)
Bed of Roses (acoustic guitar)
Love's the Only Rule (the main riff)

This is just on top of my head. It's not that he is desperately needed, but every now and then he actually contributes to the song.

So Bobby is needed on all pretty much all songs starting with "w"

This is the one that kills me the most. Why is he playing the lead lick of that one live? The recorded version is far bluesier than when Richie does it, I can't stand it.

Phil played the leads on the song in the studio. He confirmed that a few times.
