Default Def Leppard for Giants Stadium as Special Guests??

They haven't announced the guests yet for Giants Stadium so what about
Def Leppard?

Jon and Richie recently went to the bands show in Chicago at the UIC. Joe and Jon are friends and have respect for each other.
Leppard play in Jones Beach and Holmdel NJ on August 1 and 2nd so they'll be in the area.

I think it would be a great bill.

Any rumours on who will play wih them?

I dont think theres a snowballs chance in hell that youd get the two playing together! If i woz Joe elliot id feel plain crap..knowing that id once been able to sell out stadiums just like Jovi but now am playing townhalls and leisure centres (yes, in the UK they are!) Supporting Jovi would feel humilating i wood think..as the two bands in some ways were very simialr back in the 80s but one made it while the other faded away.........
As for what u said, i WAS at Jovis Dublin gig in 2000 and Joe elliot was there backstage ..so yeh there friends i guess, but i dont think we'd see any joint tour !

JBJ - I believe

"Sambora's face is a mask of joyous disbelief, as if previously unaware of his ability to play the instrument at all. Reaching the last fistful of notes, he does a fair impression of a man who is actually ejaculating into his jet black flares."

for a tour i agree

but this is a one off. maybe just one or both of these shows as SPECIAL GUESTS.
Bon Jovi wouldn't have Lep play before them normally cause they are every bit as good live as them (better in my opinion though i'm a bigger fan of them!) but they wouldn't mind who plays wih them in NJ - anyone but Springsteen of course.

I mention it as possible because Joe mentioned early this year they were talking to another BIG NAME BAND about a possible joint tour.
Probably won't happen but it would have been cool.
Lep ar still a big band BTW. X has sold only about 200,000 less than Bounce in the US. Jovi are just bigger in terms of press coverage and outside of the US these days.

They have their own big US tour in arenas no anyway but this could be a cool one off.
Seems stange that it won't be Goo Goo Dolls or Sheryl Crow. Who else will it be?

we'll see.

What about Van Halen 1995?Or Slash 1995???

And i read som time ago Journy would supprt Jovi. What happened. Journey are legends. Wheel in The Sky is probably one of the best songs of the 70s. I want them.
