That was big of him.

Why did he say fcuk you to Pearl Jam when Jon thinks Bush is a moron (probably)? It doesn't make sense, and he isn't the sort of person to throw insults around like that.

Probably because Jon disagreed with the way Eddie expressed himself. Did you read what he did? I personally thought Vedder acted like an ass. And I don't support Bush either.

Pearl Jam supposively burned a flag and threw insults at the US Forces. That was bad. Many of us don't support the war but we do support our troops - WE WANT THEM BACK HOME WHERE THEY BELONG.

Pearl Jam can die for all I care. There is no reason to talk crap about the troops, most of them are probably in Iraq agains their will. But, what would you expect from a hippie band...

Jon dedicated The Distance to the forces.

It's a pleasure.

Stories like these gave me hope that I would meet Jon one day, and so I did... I hope to meet the rest of the band too someday.

I didn't expect this to happen in the same building where I work though....

No they didn't. People like you are the reason why these rumours spread. Look at http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/entertain...ic/2916155.stm to see what happened.

Your claim that JBJ said fcuk you Pearl Jam is now doubtful.

Penrose,

Are your parents related or are you just naturally retarded???

This is what I heard at the Pepsi Center, not something I made up you idiot.

I never cared about anything Pearl Jam recorded, I don't care what they stand for and I never will care for anything they do. That is why I don't follow their news like I do Bon Jovi's. I hear some things about different bands and I if I don't really care about that band then I won't make the efforts to dig in and find the truth. Pearl Jam is certainly not worth my time so I say what I heard.

When it comes to bands that I do listen to, like Bon Jovi, Zakk Wylde, Pantera, Metallica, Cinderella, Def Leppard, Led Zeppelin - you get it - REAL MUSIC - I am more reliable for news on them than the god damn CNN....

By the way, I LIVE IN F*****G DENVER AND YOU DON'T. I heard this from someone who attended the event and then walked out because of Eddie Wedder's childish and hippie behaviour. If they burned the flag or not I don't care. The bottom line is I hope they never play in Denver again.

By the way, he is clearly lying here by saying he supports the troops.

During the show he called them INVADERS....

Jon introducing "The Distance":

- "Unlike Pearl Jam, I support our troops and want them home safe and well. This song is called Distance and I dedicate it to the troops overseas"
Jon during "Keep the faith":

-"Do you think you can keep up with me? THis ain't no Pearl F******G Jam or Justin Timberlake. Screw that and all that Audioslave stuff going around, THIS right here is rock 'n' roll."

Hahhaha I wish I was there when he bashed Pearl Jam. There isn't too many 80s rockers who openly bash grunge bands. I'm all for that
