Thanks Becky, t'was a good read. It was a bit strange though how he praised Jon at the start, making it sound as if he was as good last night as he was in '93 and then by then end, saying he was basically just going through the motions.

Still, it dose sound as if what we were all talking about, ie, good, competent performances, with sparks of brilliance but lacking any real soul and passion throughout.

Anybody know Jon's e-mail addy...................

I guess this is the biggest fear ... the last time they were here was in 95 and if they venture back will they be as good as that? I doubt it.

nevermind the Chicago review, this just about broke my heart!

I only got good tickets when I looked for a single seat - so I won't be officially introducing this band to my son though I suspect he ain't missing much.........

I was going for a single seat, too. It just didn't help. I really do think that all of those seats were reserved for the auction. It's just not worth it. So on the upside, I'm saving some money I really need otherwise.

Concert ticket prices are out of control when you consider I saw them on the Slippery When Wet tour for 20 dollars. What has really been done to give your money's worth paying 100 dollars for a ticket now?

I don't know I saw both shows, and thought Friday was really good but Saturday was GREAT! I saw a lot of "soul" in both performances. And I had different perspectives each night. I was on the back of the floor for Friday nights show and in row 7 for Saturday's night show.
