Aloha !

Eh ? For someone's who has mentioned several times that she's got lots of bootlegs and official stuff I find this a stupid question as it was released on one of the Dry County CD Maxi's plus that it was played during almost every KTF, Cross Road and TD gig.

Salaam Aleikum,
Sebastiaan

I have a lot but to be honest I have not much from 1990 till 1996. Most is from before of later.

And I don't have the maxi of dry county. But thanx for the answer.

They played it a lot on the KTF and Sleep when I'm dead tours and then on the Crossroads tour at Wembley Stadium on the Saturday only.
I think they played it only a few other times on that tour. I don't think they played it at all on the These days tour but I could be wrong, and to my knowledge they haven't played it since. Mores the pity.

They played it a lot in 1992/93 and 1995. Sometimes it had a great piano intro by Dave. And I have one or two bootlegs from 1996 where they played it. But unfortunately after 1996 they never played it again. I wonder if they don't like it anymore, if it's too long or just not enough a party song (naah, that'd be toooo stupid)...???
I'm very glad that back in 1995 I heard that song live and I remember that Jon put in some extra verses at the end. Very cool.

Deep Purple don't play Child in Time anymore, but that's due to Ian Gillan's voice, which can't hit the high notes anymore. That shouldn't be the problem with Dry County.

They played it at Wembley Stadium on the Sunday on the These Days tour since it was broadcast on the radio.

I've had this debate with Letitrock before, I was there both nights and they definately 100% played it on the Saturday but I really don't remember it being played on the Sunday! how strange!
