Default # Diff Songs v. Bruce

So - i just got an email talking about how Bruce has played 105 diff songs on this tour...

Got me thinking -

i wonder who actually has a bigger catalog...i bet its closer than one would think...

i wonder who has more sales - somebody here prob knows.....

i wonder how many diff songs jovi has played so far this tour...

i think somebody was keeping a tally right - (including the tremendous 10 night newark run of rarities, he says, wiping the sarcasm drooling out from the side of his mouth)...im still working on getting over it - they were great shows...expectations, expectations...

thoughts?

Yep, if you count all the different covers plus all those songs included in medleys, then Bon Jovi have played 91 so far on the Lost Highway Tour.

Just had a quick look over the tour records, and they're divided as so:
Bon Jovi tracks (including solo albums) - 65
Full cover songs - 10
Partial cover songs - 16

I don't think, that Springsteen played 105 songs on his tour.

I was at the Emirates (Springsteen concert) today, and it was fun, he collected the requests from the fans, then he played it

i doubt the press release would be wrong and 105 is a wierd number so i wouldnt be surprised - kathleen would prob know better - or exactly

65 though....man....

wonder what the crowes are up to a couple months into the tour...prob over 100...and pearl jam on tap next...

still makes one think...

even Europe is gettin nothing, i mean nothing new...

am i gonna see the same show at msg that i saw 10 times in newark???

lets go out w a bang,

plus i didnt get to see the screens so thatll be cool and still the best out there...

but its the same ... exact ... show ...

For the Black Crowes to have done that, they'd have had to have played ALL 81 official tracks from their studio albums, plus 19 more songs. Have they done that?

How the hell can you say Europe is getting the exact same shows?

FTR, Just doing a bit of research:
Bon Jovi has:
-125 songs officially released on studio albums (Not counting any bonus tracks)
-There are 50 songs on the Boxset
-I'm not sure the total of B*Sides and bonus tracks.

The crowes play diff song covers and diff jams and i was being a little facetious about the 100...and they have tons of b sides and songs they play that are only live songs that are well known by fans and have never been released...and they must have more than 81 officially released songs...

but anyway...

what is so great about the europe shows - i am genuinely asking here - the setlists are exactly the same...i havent even noticed ONE song they added that wasnt played in the states...

i think we are so conditioned that we think if they play Always or These Days its like a carnvial celebration - and those songs they have played for years...

in all seriousness, what is going on that makes the europe shows so great...

is it nostalgia for the europe shows of the past or do they just sound amazing and are putting out more energy?>

what am i missing? and hopefully looking forward to at msg?

There are 81 tracks in the official tracklistings of their studio albums.
The fact that the sets are changing every show, both in order and in songs.
Not one of the shows has been similar to one of the others.
And, both from Youtube videos and those who've attended concerts, the band seems to on total fire in their playing and Jon's vocals.
(BTW Original Bed of Roses, Can't Help Falling In Love With You, Drift Away, Rockin' All Over The World (Full version), Glory Days and Mercy in the Sleep medley all hadn't been played in the States)
