Because many people have jobs, work on friday, then go to a concert and get home at 1 o' clock. They prefer not to be home at 3 o' clock at night, even though they've got 2 days off from work.

Things would've been different 10 years ago when the Dutch team was actually interesting to watch. Nowadays most Dutch people couldn't care less of what Holland is doing.

Salaam Aleikum,
Sebastiaan

Was the fact that the match would be shown first released before tickets went on sale?

If not, then I guess that's a bit irresponsible of the tour people.

Because people go there to see a concert, not some stupid soccer game.

me for one, i'm not going- the first austrian concert since the these days tour which i'm not gonna attend; but to add a point to your discussion: since 2000 they've even managed to lose some of their so-called die hards (which is, by definition, a difficult task to do); maybe it's because their die-hards (in this special case: me) grow older while bj focuses on teenage kids and whatever the market seems to offer (i.e. country).
I heard different. These 35 000 for austrian concert were sold out very fast, so they added another 15 000, what means about 50 000 people will attend the concert.

I've read that they've moved the Bruce show in Brussels from outdoors to an indoor arena due to poor sales. That said, they did play there in December so that might be the "problem" selling out the outdoor show, but I agree, these GC prices have definately messed out the prices. I've paid £57 for the Bruce show in London compared to £90 for the Jovi Twickenham shows! It is ridiculous but it will probably be the last time I see Jovi live for a long time so I decided to go with that price but that's absolutely the limit for me.
