I'm not moaning about the fact that if I bought a £45 ticket I wouldn't be near the front - though for the same price I was 2nd row at Twickenham last summer.
I wouldn't pay £75 even if it was a stadium gig, be it for pit or GA.

What I'm moaning at is that there can be NO justification for their pricing structure, regardless of who is responsible for them.
It's just become about making money, not about putting on a great show.

Oh and at the O2 opening gig in 2007 we had the £60 tickets up in the gods.
The view wasn't great and neither was the sound.
The atmosphere up there was crap too - surrounded by people who literally knew only 1 or 2 of the classics.

I guess this time round it's going to be the floor section that's full of people who have the corporate packages because they have the money, but don't know any songs since 2000.... while the genuine fans will be in the bleachers!
It's gonna be "spot the celeb" down on the floor.

Yes, the prices are needlessly expensive, but we established that about a week ago!

Personally, I've bought one £45 ticket, and I'm sure I'll enjoy the show even though I'll be about a mile from the band. Getting to the front isnt everything ... a good show is a good show regardless (or vice versa)
We weren't born to follow...why post in someone else's thread when you can make you own?

And £650? **** me...

All those Silver seats and what-not will end up being sold at face value if the packages don't sell (which if you look at what is being offered clearly they aren't so far). Of the 4 nights I've checked only the opening night has moved away from offering A2 row C.

I see they have stuck a load of tickets straight on the ticket exchange as well, another way to rip fans off without ever offering the tickets at face value (not that Jovi are alone in doing that).

No matter how high the prices, I'll be at the front. It'll be my first concert so I want it to be the best experience ever. I wanna be so close I can hold out my hand and have Jon touch it.

Crazy, why not try and get at the front at a 2011 Europe show and save money?

Pricey indeed. I'm in Europe during the Summer, so I'll be avoiding la O2.

I'm not that against the prices as such I can swallow that HOWEVER the booking fees are what gets me going....no justification for those at all.

i totaly agree with this.

what is a booking fee anyway? surely by me shelling out £150 for 2 tickets is me "booking" my ticket?
i aslo like the way they charge £2.75 to post them to you but they get sent first class at the cost of 38p.

so two tickets goes from £150 + £9.00 booking fee PER TICKET then £2.75 postage. that makes nearly £175

When I win the lottery I'll get the £920 ticket to sit in PIT 1 Row B seat 5.... They don't seem to have sold

First time I've been on Ticketmaster and looked at the actual prices haha.
