Default Unfortunately, the answer is no.

I would have to say the Bounce songs did not rock as well as the older songs in Charlotte on 3/22/03. I like the heavier sound, but none of them really stood out. They are all pretty good, but I can't see any of them turning into classics. I've been wrong before though.

It's only a matter of taste. People like letitrock and Mike McRock are getting pretty ignorant with their same opinions over and over again. We all know by now that Homebound Train rocks, and that Bounce and Crush suck that's the only thing they are saying.

from the mp3's ive heard, most bounce songs do rock, except for 'misunderstood'...i still cant get into that, apart from the catchy solo.
At the moment, undivided, the distance and right side of wrong stand out live...mostly cos of they seem to be the songs most spiced up for the live setting. im hoping to hear hook me up and love me back to life at hyde park as well the older stuff

again, it's a matter of good taste and bad taste.....

no the new songs don't rock more, as they are not rock songs.... pop songs dressed up as rock songs do not rock.

You don't have to be there to judge the music. I saw Deep Purple do Child in Time last year, and it was one of the most exciting pieces of music I've seen.... I enjoyed it more than listening to the version on Made in Japan, however I can still say the made in Japan version rocks more...Same with Bon Jovi, I've heard them live, and I'm sure they will sound better live, but I can still image what the atmosphere/sound will be like on the basis of these recordings, and I can judge that they don't rock!

and anyway, I don't always say that Bounce and Crush suck (I ususally less tame words for those albums), and if I only ever said Homebound train rocked, then why was I dreaming about In and out of love last night??? [/code]

HA!!! I would say Ignorant and VERY Arogant! well letitrock more so!
Don't forget Deep Purple rock too!lol

I'm sorry letitrock but it is true. I mean no disrespect to you tho!
Deep Purple do rock, and make sure you don't forget it again

I'm not going to apologise for having a wider knowlege, and love of rock music outside of Bon Jovi though, I love Bon Jovi sure, but there are another good 30 rock bands I love, who I'm going to make reference to when applicable.

explain how ignorant? I personally think myself and letitrock are two of the people on this board who do have a constant view point, and do express themselves... There are several others who fall into this catagory, but far too many people critises other people's opinions, then when it comes to giveing their own, or expanding on their own opinions for more than a couple of words, they're just unable too

Stop comparing Bon Jovi with Deep Purple they are very different bands. Bon Jovi is still big, Deep Purple isn't. Who cares that some songs are pop. I don't some songs on New Jersey and Slippery sound like pop songs too..

I'm not comparing the band, I'm comparing the experiance, which is the same... Deep Purple are for me every bit as exciting live as Bon Jovi, yet I'm still able to view a Purple set list with perspective, and compare what I've just seen, to recordings of shows. That was the point, Deep Purple had nothing to do with it. You should be able to judge the music from an audio recording, as although you'll enjoy it more live, you are still listening to the music, it's still the same music, and you shouldn't be blinded by the atmosphere....

Deep Purple are bigger now than they were in the 70's, when they were at their 'biggest'. Also, Deep Purple havn't sold out to keep in the charts, or to make theselves a big band.

Find me more than 4 songs on Slippery and New Jersey that are pop orientated.... They're rock albums, and it's the rock songs that are remembered. Unfortuanetly, there are no rock songs on Bounce or Crush to remeber those albums by!

I don't like pop music, therefore the fact that it's pop music means I won't like it. That's why I care
