I don't care about his opinion, but I get a little irritated by them because they keep comparing Bon Jovi to Deep Purple.

Salaam Aleikum,
Sebastiaan
And I get irritated having to keep seeing Aloha and Salaam Aleikum in all of your posts! What am I going to do about it..nothing. :P
The thing over here that irritates me the most is: that all the girls over here wear clothes

Defenders of KRB, who added more opinions about life rather than music. Yet two people come in here to actually discuss music, and they are getting a hard time for it. Makes no sense.

this thread is about if bounce song rock compared to the older songs! deep purple are not included!lol
yup, somebody needs to read my post. I didn't compare Deep Purple to Bon Jovi, you've just gone along with what other people have said....You really don't read people's posts do you!

To get back onto the topic then.

I think like most bands, new material comes into the live set, then is dropped in future tours. I can't see a lot of the Crush/Bounce material lasting as tracks like Runaway, Bad Name e.t.c have. For me, the so called 'anthem' songs, all seem to follow the old formular, but it doesn't sound the same, and for me it doesn't work. When they're brought into the live show, I don't think they fit. One Wild night sort of wasn't too bad, nor was It's My Life, but I'd say the majority of Bounce (including Undivided) doesn't seem to work with the old songs. For me that's where an album can succeed, if it can be intergrated sucessfully into the set, These Days worked, as did Keep the Faith, but unfortunately I'm hearing new and old Bon Jovi nowerdays, instead of just hearing Bon Jovi

i dont agree, from crush, IML and just older are two great tracks which will stand the test of time and are great anthems. however, im not too sure if bounce even as an anthem to last...i think that is the albums' big weak point, it has a good bunch of role players, but no song to lead the charge.
