Default do you do Live shows ?

I think the question is extremely basic but it's a good question though

I'll make it under a poll form because it's maybe more easy to understand the replies ....

you can though discuss about this if you want to ?

Aloha !

The third one. Although this has only counted one time for me on the Bounce tour, I'm planning to do this again. I'm not sure if it will be more than 4 like I did last time, it all depends on the setlists and shows itself. There are other acts around this year as well, and it's not all Bon Jovi for me. I'm planning to do a small Oasis tour this year as well, and the chance of getting rarities at that tour is bigger than getting them at a Bon Jovi show.

Salaam Aleikum,
Sebastiaan

Thank you for your reply ... I agree with you it's not all about bon jovi though for now just bon jovi made it that FUN ... I know how subjective it is though .... I really enjoy the Jovi mood at shows (the fans and everything) ... and this is not the same for other bands so far for me (except one that I won't name lol) .. a show is also a big party and I really enjoyed the jovi parties until now ...
I plan to do other bands shows while BON JOVI won't tour ... it will maybe permit me to see how good or bad other bands are compare to JOVI...until 2003 I would not even have been open to this idea ... now I am ready for others ... LOL I have grown up at 45 it's better late than never ... before I was avoiding the comparison avoiding the challenges with other bands .. now I am ready for that because I am not afraid about the result anymore ... I think that Jon is an amazing entertainer .. he is the ULTIMATE front man for me ... this said is to be an amazing entertainer essential ? good question .. lol I won't reply ... :P

I picked #3. I don't know if the word "essential" is appropriate, but I do travel for shows--it's the only way I'll see them. I definitely WANT to see them every tour. But if they do the same old setlist with Bad Name, Sleep/Bad Medicine/Shout, etc... and don't have enough variation to make it exciting, then I won't go out of my way for multiple shows. They don't have to vary the songs to vary the show, but even the way they play each song is stagnant and the banter is the same, so once would be enough. Well, that's what I think now. After I see them again, I might think, "I've GOT to see them again NOW." Even the well-oiled machine is highly entertaining. I'm more likely to take in more shows if I can make trips that are about more than just the band, like visiting friends.

Well I'm not sure how one would "do" a live show

I chose the last option, as I have never been to any shows before, but plan to this time if possible. I wasn't much of a fan during the time of the Crush and One Wild Night tours, and had exams during the time the Bounce tour got to the UK, so I missed them then.

#2. If I had the time and money I would have picked #3. I try to see at least 1 or 2 shows in my area each tour.

Well since it is rare when they make planned concerts and not stay at home because they aren't in the mood for working, so yes, the chance for rarities at an Oasis-tour are bigger. Maybe you got luck and actually see them at least once during the planned tour on stage.

I will travel locally as there are many shows in the northeast. That way I can see more than what comes to the Meadowlands. Philly and Hartford and Atlantic City are close enough for day trips.

I also travel to see Springsteen shows and have for many years. I enjoy the live shows and doing a little travelling is part of the adventure.

So - it's #3 for me.

Kathleen

you have cut yourself short so far --- it's about time to open up go and see as many bands as you can and you'll find that there are tons of bands equally if not better live than BJ

#2 for me. I will see them when they get to Seattle, but I most likely won't travel to Oregon or BC - unless the timing is perfect and/or they'd play smaller venues (which they won't). I am not a fan of arenas and I rather see bands in small theaters or clubs --- BJ won't indulge me in that respect, so I'll see them once per tour. Unless: they play Tacoma Dome in which case I'll pass

#3 For me also. I have, and will continue to do so, travel to anywhere within the UK to see Bon Jovi. No distance is too far really for me. I do plan on seeing two shows in mainland Europe and two in USA next time around though.... A #4 choice, depends on money more than anything.
