Get your facts right German lady. Just because the media jumps on it everytime they skip concerts doesn't mean it's a rare occasion if they do a gig. And even if they would play only one gig of the entire tour they planned and I would be there I'd get more rarities to hear than at a Bon Jovi concert since Oasis changes a setlist completely compared to a previous tour by throwing in older b-sides and other songs they haven't played in about 10 years. So your comment doesn't make sense. Again.

Sebastiaan

I chose #2. If it´s possible I will go see one or two shows on next tour. And God, I hope it is possible.

I picked # 2. I'd like to see a show every tour, but that isn't always practical. They haven't been to my area since 1995 and therefore, it's a mini vacation just to see 1 show. Therefore, I haven't seen them since 2000 when I spent way too much money to see 2 shows.

I understand that Diane ... it's tough to have to spend a huge amont of money just to get what few gifted fans get very easily ....

this is the problem of bands who are popular on a rather unbalanced way geographicaly (especially in north america) .. or maybe is it due to the fact that they don't have the same concept of touring compare to before 2000 (I can see ppl jumping in here feeling concerning of the right the guys have to get a normal life.... so I am also adding that they can at 43 for the youngest of the band not be ok anymore to spend their life touring just to please ALL their fans it's impossible and a never ending story) like Kathleen said if you are from the north easth of the usa you can see them easily without spending a huge amont of money (except if you stay to their hotels to get some coincidence encounter LOL ... Borgata hotel is then not the cheaspest way to make a show ) but things are different if you are from Manitoba or Vancouver or Rio or Taiwanor Brisbane and so on )

there is also a different appreciation of what kind if fun it is travelling for Bon Jovi ? I love to drive my car through europe I think it's the best time ever ... but some ppl also don't accept the idea of travelleing too much for a show ... give me a european tour a car and my beloved ones with me and I can tour forvever and the pleasure of this is not just the shows it's the mood ... to be on the road and to not think about anything ....

ok sorry for rambling :P

I think this thread proves that Europeans and teachers (or those in related fields) have too much vacation

I will definitely travel for a Jovi show. I wouldn't say it's essential though. Like Becky, I live in the Southeastern part of the States, so that usually means having to travel some to see Bon Jovi. I got lucky on the Bounce tour and they returned to Tampa for the first time in almost 10 years. Otherwise, a trip to Atlanta is on my agenda.

Yeah, try working with the little monsters. There's no such thing as too much vacation. It's the only way they can bribe people to stay in the field. I get sick of kids working with them one at a time. I can only imagine what a teacher with 30 kids in her room has to contend with.

I chose #3 I will go to the Irish show, some Uk shows and some other European ones as well...hopefully Germany & Switzerland and maybe more and I want to go to the last European show as well.

It will be the first time I get to do this and get to see other countries too so it should be fun
