I don't think he will rejoin the tour. The official statement confirmed that he won't play the European Leg. Of course this was also a kind of coverage but we have no evidences of a comeback. There is one percent of hope left according to Obie's statements in Munich. He said that Richie will be back. I asked if there is a chance to see Richie in Cologne at my second show and he said "Yeah".

I voted "no", though I'd love to be proven wrong and see him back at some point.

If both sides are in a gridlock regarding whatever issue is at stake, and it's lasted this long, then I'd be surprised if it is resolved anytime soon.

I remember hearing quite a few hints of 'talks' going on since Richie left:

One report said he was in secret talks with Jon about returning to the show in L.A., but an agreement couldn't be reached in time;

Then there was Obie's comment about June 6 (which I took to mean that he figured that an agreement could well be reached at some point in the tour, potentially, whether it be the June 6 show specifically or another one);

Now, there is (apparently) Richie saying he hopes to play Hyde Park in July if the issue can be resolved by then.

To me, at least, it sounds like this issue could well be about money (and probably more about the respect or lack thereof reflected in whatever amount is being bandied about). I can't imagine what other issue could be so difficult to overcome than one involving $$$$.

I think Richie will be genuinely sad to miss The London, Slane, Milan, Isle Of Wight shows. They are pretty special occasions and that's the only thing that leaves some doubt in my mind. It seems he holds the key to whether he comes back or not. Who knows, he might have an epiphany in the next ten days. At the moment I'm 90% sure he won't be back.

It's so frustrating as all it could take is a phone call from one of them, but as we all know this won't happen. The only losers in all this are us fans.

I voted yes, maybe it's just wishful thinking on my part but I'm hopeful that they will meet and work it out.

I wouldn't take what he says on twitter as confirmation that he will be back. His probably booked for the whole tour with the exception if anything changes, he goes. If he were to write, I'm free after this break, than that would bring in 100 more tweets of does this mean Richie is back or someone else taking over from Phil? His just going along with the flow and see what happens.

As for if Richie will be back, I think no.

I voted no.

Hope to be wrong, and to see Richie back, playing with the band, Phil X (at least for the rest of the tour) and Bobby making vocal harmonies.

Im not even sure I want Richie back for the UK shows to be honest. If he is back, it will be yet another example in this saga of the fans being ****ed around, being told one thing and then completely another happening. If Richie is suddenly back, then everyone who got refunds will either miss the shows as a result of being lied to, or they'll have a last minute scramble to sort new tickets / travel / accomodation.

Dont get me wrong, Richie is of course an integral part of a true Bon Jovi show. But if he shows up and clearly doesnt want to be there, or if he and Jon are causing tension, is it really going to be any better?

Yes... but... if he shows up then he needs to be 110% on it and for the right reasons. I would not want to see him going through the motions or picking shows just to say I was there... slane, iow, hyde park etc.
