Oh yippie. Which will probably mean more of the same every night. And if it won't be like that, I can always get tickets for another night. It's not like they're more expensive 3 days before the gig, you can always get them for face value over here, with the exception of the Gold Circle tickets.

Salaam Aleikum,
Sebastiaan

I guess it is - I had tickets for Madison Square Garden, which is 4 hours away by car, and I decided to sell them. I'm going to 3 other shows, and I decided, the 4th would have been too much. Between the $200 for 2 tickets, taking an entire day off of work, travelling for 8 hours round trip - It wasn't worth it. Got bills to pay for, and vacation in February. The way I decided was - Well, I'm going to 3 shows, and I'm sure at least 3 more over the summer. Should I sacrifice 1 show, which would basically equal the same as 4 days of vacation? Pretty simle answer.

Same thing as Russ, i don't go out that often so i'd drive a few hours to see Bon Jovi live ! BUT ... i can't .... don't have the money, simple as that.

Anyway they think France is not worth a try since a few years. I know Bercy was not completely full in 2001 but i'm so disappointed that even if i had the money i don't know if i'd bother driving a few hours and paying a hotel etc ...
I think i'd still love the show but it's not like something special was planned ... we will hear the same old things 70% of the concert ...

I'm lucky that the amount I will end up saving (and later spending!) for my overseas trip, that will make the tickets for Bon Jovi not seem like so much.

I know what you mean. Personally I dont care about travelling I like visiting different venues and Cities, I dont mind the driving either.

The tickets are the major hassle for me, or they were this year. I cam back from having the best holiday for years to find out all the gold tickets were sold in two days. That pissed me off, especially after purchasing the fanclub which is useless without those tickets. Iv managed to get some but I know if I want to do all the UK im gonna have to risk ebay, theres always the chance they'll mess you around. Then of course theres the extra expense which goes with it too. Id only do all this for Bon Jovi, my friends call me crazy they dont understand my menality at all. I just think I might as well do it all now while iv got the chance, no ties or major responsilities.

I usually don't travel unless there's something else I want to do in the area and be a tourist or go to a baseball game or something else. To zip in, see Jovi and then turnaround and speed home isn't enough for me.

And even though might seem like a hassle, once you get to the show all of those thoughts about the same set lists, all the travle and everything else just seem to disappear.

I don't feel like it's a hassle. The shows/tour are my fun. When there is a tour I use my days off for shows when I need to but I am fortunate because I live in an area where I can drive to nearly all the shows so I don't need to take time off. For me, the traveling and being with friends makes it more than just going to shows but rather an experience.
