To me, it's worth it. I don't have travel too far to begin with...just to Atlanta, and we have family there, so that isn't really a hassle. The only place I would really "travel" to see them is New Jersey, but again, family is there too, so in the end it would be worth it. I've been lucky the last two tours...they actually came to Tampa.

Interesting replies. It sounds like most of you don't really travel unless it's driving distance.

So, if the best way for you to get to a show was to fly, would that change your perspective?

And bringing Gargamel into this really cracked me up. LOL

No, not for me Becky. It's not the fact that i have to drive, i like driving and i don't mind driving long distances, it's more the price (petrol, motorway) and again if you're far you need to eat/sleep etc .. and this coast money too.
Suddenly it's not only a ticket to pay but much more !!!

Sounds old i'm sure true when i was younger the food and hotel were not a problem, eat what you can if you can and sleep in the car or on a bench ...

No, I'd fly to see them if that was my only option. Bon Jovi is the only band I travel to see whether it's by car, plane, train, etc. I'll fly to Chicago, Pittsburgh and Toronto to see them.

I have never needed to travel to see Bon Jovi - there are always numerous concerts close to home. I am really only limited by my budget and by scheduling conflicts. I would like to travel to London to see them but I wouldn't go "only" for the concert. I have been wanting to go back to London for some time now so it would be a good excuse to travel AND see a concert. Unfortunately, until my daughter is out of High School (in about 2 years) I can't travel in early June. Our local schools don't get out until the end of June So it will still be awhile.

The only place I would not blink at flying to see them is New Jersey. But, only for GS Stadium shows...LOL

I have discussed this with a few people in the last four to five weeks. Yeah it is a lot of hassle and right now, many of us feel that is isnt worth it all. The stress about getting tickets, the stress about what should a FC do, the hassle booking hotels, the hassle getting the right transport that will get you to the next show on time. They all add up and I for one, do get stressed by it all. Personally I have no tickets for the forthcoming tour, but I know I will definately be in attendance of at least three shows. My credit card hadnt arrived by the time tickets went onsale so I was pretty much screwed. I am getting tickets on ebay after Xmas which is gonna mean more stress and hassle. Can we trust ebay sellers? Can we trust ticket brokers?

I know for a fact that if this wasnt Bon Jovi, there is no way I would be doing this. They are the only band I will go to extreme measures for. No other artist even comes close.

I will travel pretty much anywhere to see them, I even have plans to fly to USA next summer (if dates are announced). Its always been a dream to see a homecoming show. Thats what its all about for me. Yes again, this will bring a lot of hassle, but once your actually at the show, does anyone care about the stress before hand? NO, of course not. Once the band walk onstage everything is forgotton. So for me, yes it IS worth the hassle!!

All I have to do is hop onto a train to London and then tube to Wembley ... dead easy. And, conveniently, the Wembley show is 2 days after my Uni term finishes, so it couldn't be easier :P
