Does the crowd reaction in NY area make a diference to JBJ performance?

When I watch the DVDs in the NY area it just feels like JBJ is at his local bar, so relaxed... it just happens to be filled with 20,000 people

When he was younger he was happy to just be on stage doing the job his loves , now he seems to need the home comforts to be happy.

Happy performer = great shows.

Think we will have to see what the rest of the tour is like and whether he can bring Happy JBJ on tour with him, but he doesnt seem to have been able to do that as frequently in past few tours.

At O2 UK last year, I got the best set... but I could see JBJ was on auto ..he just wants to be at home these days !

Go and watch some videos from the Australian shows. He's happy in front of a decent crowd. He gives more in New York because the crowd contains some influential people, and because it's basically the cultural capital of America.

Could be Jon has friends and family in the audience in NY/NJ and that relaxes him more?? I know in the HAND tour I saw Bon Jovi in NJ and on Long Island and the NJ shows had more energy then the Long Island show did. Just my humble opinion.
